1. Service description

Applyo provides interview preparation tools, career coaching, and job search assistance through a web-based platform at app.applyo.co.uk. The platform includes voice and video interview simulations, CV analysis, cover letter generation, and 31 career tools across preparation, practice, and job search categories.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to use Applyo. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One person per account — sharing accounts is not permitted.

3. Free demos

Applyo offers free demos (such as the CV Scanner demo and Video Interview demo) that do not require an account. Demo results are stored temporarily using a browser-based token and are available for 30 days. To retain your demo results permanently, you must create an account and claim the session. Demo functionality may be limited compared to the full platform.

4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. Each paid plan includes a free trial period as described at the time of signup (currently 3 days for Interview Prep, 7 days for Job Search and Career Pro). During the trial, you have full access to the features included in your chosen plan. You will not be charged if you cancel before the trial ends.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then. We do not offer partial refunds for unused portions of a billing period.

5. Credits

Each plan includes a monthly allocation of credits for various tools (for example, voice interviews, video interviews, salary negotiation simulations, and case interviews). Credits reset at the beginning of each billing period and do not roll over. Usage beyond your allocation requires upgrading your plan. Your current credit balance and usage are visible in your dashboard at all times.

6. Generated content

Feedback, reports, scores, cover letters, and other content generated by Applyo are intended for educational and preparation purposes only. They do not constitute professional career advice, legal advice, or guaranteed outcomes. Interview scores reflect performance within the Applyo system and should not be interpreted as predictions of real interview results.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of content you upload to the platform, including CVs, recordings, and written responses. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process this content solely for the purpose of providing the Applyo service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any other purpose.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to reverse-engineer the system, share account access, automate access beyond normal use, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

Applyo is provided as-is. We do not guarantee specific outcomes such as job offers, interview success, or salary increases. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the service in the preceding 12 months.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
